Kuzu no Honkai

His is a series focused on a love romance that everyone has been through. And it’s not what you often see in anime like first love, platonic love, or romcom, but it’s about a deep and mature romance about some high school students getting twisted and crooked by it. The plot is often used in dramas, but we hardly see this kind of romance in anime. Our expectations are over the roof and we want to see how it’s going to be interpreted and described in the anime.
The title of the show is a hint in itself. 【クズの本懐/ Kuzu no Honkai/ Scum’s Wish】: Honkai here can be interpreted to mean both ‘the original desire’ and ‘to attain one’s desire.’ I guess that the protagonist is the scum of the story, but is the female protagonist’s desire the key to the story development?

The illustration is very cute and reminds us of shoujo manga. There is only a preview with static images available as of now, but we really like the art style! The original source is a manga, but anime adaptation often change the original atmosphere. This seems like a romance show that can be seen from anime fans who usually don’t watch that kind of series.

CHAOS;CHILD

Chaos;Child is an anime adaptation of the titular visual novel game, released in 2014. It is the fourth main entry in the Science Adventure series, and a sequel to Chaos;Head (2008).
Many games lately are getting the anime treatment, either with adaptations like Tales of Zestiria, or with an original story based on the game, with Danganronpa 3 being one of the finest examples. The original game’s story changes depending on the choices the player makes, so it’s difficult to predict the route the anime will choose to follow. It’s also possible that the writers will choose to create a new route and surprise both fans and newcomers.
In the original visual novel, in 2009 a black fire caused by a very strong earthquake brings panic in Shibuya, Tokyo, killing 3,851 people and injuring 30,927 more.. Six years later in a reconstructed Shibuya, a string of mysterious deaths brings a group of people together.
Are you guessing suspense? Mystery? You are guessing right. Even though the main genre is classified as ‘sci-fi’, the story promises a lot of thrills and twists. It’s a murder case, after all.
The ending song will perform Konomi Suzuki who won the 5th All Japan Anime-song Grand prize.☆ She also performed the opening song for the first season of BBK/BRNK, which is now airing the second season.

Masamune-kun’s Revenge

You just have to read the story of the anime to be instantly convinced that this is going to be a very interesting show. Have you seen a ‘revenge love’ comedy before? Masamune Makabe is going to star in one. Makabe used to fat and uncool. So fat and uncool that Aki Adachi, a very pretty but mean girl, once dumped him and called him pig’s foot. How do you cope with such a trauma? But of course you change into a handsome man and plan on taking sweet revenge.
There will of course be characters at both sides of the revenge camps, other helping Makabe to take his revenge while others will try to stop him.
Also, Aki Adachi is rumored to be a tsundere character. The term refers to a character who can change between two distinct moods almost instantly: from tsuntsun, aloof and hard to cope with, to deredere, sweet and lovable. We wonder how much of a tsundere she will be!

Demi-chan wa Kataritai

I’ve went through the Winter 2017 list too many times. The first time I saw the titles, this one went unnoticed. So why is it now in our top 5? Blame the internet. There are so many people talking about the show online that I was indirectly pushed to learn more about it. (^-^ゞ The comments are very positive: ‘I will definitely watch Demi-chan!’, ‘Demi-chan will be the must watch for the coming season’, etc.
Ajin are legendary beings that look like a human. A group of such beings, including a vampire, a dullahan, and a yuki-onna (snow spirit), are attending high school and make life hard for their very normal high school teacher. Ajin means ‘demi-human’ in English, and that’s why these cute girls chose the nickname Demi-chan. ♪
After spending a little time online, I can safely say that I’m now looking forward to watching this story about demi-human girls and the lessons their teacher will bravely try to teach them. ( ^∀^)

KonoSuba Second Season

This is the only anime of this list that’s on its second season. I wasn’t very enthusiastic about the show when it first started, but after a few episodes it really gets under your skin. ♪ The show has an amazing story flow.
Konosuba is about a boy that died in an unlucky accident and found himself waking in an RPG world filled with unique people. The only way to finish the game is when he defeats… I don’t want to spoil it for you, because the story is so absurd that it’s not easy to analyze in a few sentences. It’s nonsensical and amazing. The protagonist was fond of fantasy worlds, but the one he woken up into is nothing to the one he had in mind. Both this world and his new comrades (all good looking and ridiculously strong) are just a harsh new reality he has to accept.
My advise is that your start watching the first season now and be ready for the exciting second season. They hype is already huge.
